She is an American actor and filmmaker. She has won numerous awards including three Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. Her film career began to take off 10 years later with Cyborg 2 (1993), which was followed by Hackers (1995). She was a star in the biographical cable film George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998).
