Brooke Baldwin

 Brooke Baldwin was born July 12 1979. She is an American journalist and host on television. Brooke Baldwin hosted CNN Newsroom, which aired every weekday from 3:00 until 4:00 ET. Baldwin was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a student at The Westminster Schools, an exclusive college preparatory school. She graduated in 2001 with bachelor's degrees from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Spanish and the Hussman School of Journalism and Media in the field of journalism. In her undergraduate years, she also studied abroad at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.Baldwin was criticized in the 2015 Baltimore protests when she incorrectly made the mistake of claiming that veterans were at fault for the unrest - saying soldiers who become police officers "are returning from war, they don't know the local communities, and are ready to do battle." In the aftermath, she apologized via Twitter and on air live. Erik Wemple, The Washington Post wrote that Brooke Baldwin of CNN shows other media outlets how to apologize.
