David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (UK"'bek@m' 2 May 1975) was an English professional footballer who played for the United Kingdom. Beckham is currently the president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF, and the coowner of Salford City. Beckham has been described by many as the greatest and most well-known player of his time and also the greatest set-piece player ever. He is the first English player to win league titles in four different countries: England, Spain, the United States and France.Beckham's professional club career began with Manchester United, where he made his first team debut in 1992 at age 17. [10] At Manchester United, he was awarded the Premier League title six times as well as the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. After his departure from Real Madrid, he played four seasons in the Spanish league and took home the La Liga title in his final season.
