Farrah Fawcett

Farrah Leni Fawcett (born Ferrah Leni Fawcett; February 2 1947 - 25 June, 2009) was an American actress. Fawcett was the four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee as in addition to the recipient of a six-time Golden Globe Award nomination. She rose to international fame when she starred in the first season's Charlie's Angels. During the 1970s, she appeared in several television series, including recurring roles on Harry O (1974-1976), and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974-1978) together with her husband actor and TV star Lee Majors. Six million copies of her iconic red swimsuit poster were sold in the first year of printing. Fawcett's breakout role was Jill Munroe, a private investigator in Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson also starred in the show. The show helped propel the three actresses into stardom. Fawcett was the only one to leave Charlie's Angels after appearing in the premiere season of the show in 1976.
