George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. was born on May 18 1952. He is an American actor, songwriter, and singer. actor. Strait is frequently called the "King of Country", and is a well-known singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer from the United States. The first single he released, "Unwound", was released in 1981. This marked the mainstream acceptance of the neotraditional sound. During the 1980s, seven of his albums reached number one in the country charts. Strait won his first Grammy for his album Troubadour in 2000. He was also named Artist of the Decade at the Academy of Country Music and elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Strait was the CMA Entertainer Of The Year in 1989 in 1990, 1993, and 2013.
