Gina Joy Carano (born April 16 1982) is an American actress and former mixed martial artist. From 2006 to 2009 , she competed in EliteXC, Strikeforce and compiled a 7-1 record. The media referred to her as the "face" of women's MMA due to her high profile. Carano declined this title.
