Radric Delantic Davis (born 12 February 1980) also known as Gucci Mane, is an American musician and record producer. Along with fellow Atlanta rappers T.I., he helped to establish hip hop subgenres of trap music. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the decade between 2000 and 2010. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second album, Hard to Kill in 2006. In 2007, Gucci Mane dropped his third studio album, Back to the Trap House. After a string of commercially and critically well-received mixtapes Gucci Mane's fourth studio album, The state vs. Radric was released in 2007. It was the first album he released to be certified gold. After spending time in prison from 2014 until 2016, Gucci Mane re-emerged with a variety of retail releases that included All of Us Looking (2016). The album was well-received by reviewers. The collaboration he did with Rae Sremmurd, titled "Black Beatles", gave Gucci Mane with his first top-ranked track on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
