Helen Hunt

 Helen Elizabeth Hunt (born June 15th in 1963) is an American actress and director. She has won many awards, including an Academy Award, four Primetime Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Awards.Hunt gained notoriety for her character Jamie Buchman in the sitcom Mad About You (1992-1999, in 2019,) and was awarded three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in the field of Television Series - Musical or Comedy, as well as four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.Hunt received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Carol Connelly in the romantic comedy As Good as It Gets (1997) and her role as Cheryl Cohen Greene in The Sessions (2012), earned her nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other notable films include Twister (1996) and Cast Away (2000). She also directed The Miracle Season (2018). She was nominated for the Academy Award as the Best Supporting Actress.
