Jennifer Hudson

 Jennifer Kate Hudson (born September 12th in 1981) is also known as her nickname J.Hud is an American singer, actress and host of a talk show. She has been awarded numerous accolades for her contributions to television, film theatre, and recording songs throughout her professional career. Hudson became the youngest woman and second African-American woman to be awarded the four most important American entertainment awards, which include Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT). In 2013, she was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Time declared her one of the 100 most influential individuals around the world in 2020. She rose to fame as a finalist in American Idol's third season 2004 where she was seventh. In 2006 she made her debut on the screen in Dreamgirls as Effie, a role that featured her as the character of Effie White. She won the Academy Award in Best Supporting Actress for the musical and became the youngest African American winner of a competition acting competition. Hudson was signed to Arista Records in 2008 and released her debut studio album named "Hunter" that was certified Gold in the US, UK and won the Grammy Award as Best R&B Album.
