Lindsay Dee Lohan (/'loU.@n/ LOH-@n's birth date: July 2nd, 1986) is an American actress and singer.Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Lohan was signed to Ford Models at the age of three. At age 10, Lohan was a regular on Another World's soap opera. Her breakthrough came from Walt Disney Pictures' 1998 film The Parent Trap. The film's popularity led to appearances in television shows Life-Size (2000) as well as Get a Clue (2002), and the big-screen productions Freaky Friday (2003) and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). Her early work helped earn her fame. The teen comedy smash Mean Girls (2004) established her as an icon. Lohan also signed with Casablanca Records, releasing two studio albums, including the platinum-certified Speak (2004) as well as the gold-certified A Little Personal(Raw) (2006).
