Peyton Manning

 Peyton Williams Manning (born March 24, 1976) is an American former footballer who was a part of the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons. Peyton Williams Manning, often referred to as "the Sheriff", was a former American football player who played for the National Football League (NFL) for 18 seasons. He played in the NCAA football tournament for Tennessee. In his senior year Manning won the Maxwell, Davey O'Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Ar Awards. The Colts selected Manning at the beginning of the 1998 NFL Draft. He served as their primary quarterback from 1998 and 2010. He was instrumental in transforming the struggling Colts franchise into consistent playoff contenders, leading them to 11 playoff runs, eight division titles, three AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and one championship win during Super Bowl XLI, the franchise's first title in three decades, and the first since they moved to Indianapolis. Manning was awarded the Super Bowl MVP in the win.
