Ray J

 William Ray Norwood Jr. (born January 17, 1981) also known as Ray J, is an American actor, singer, and television personality. He was born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Carson. He is the younger brother of actress Brandy Norwood, as well as the first cousin of Snoop Dogg. He was a contestant on the 9th season of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in January 2017. Willie Norwood Jr. was born to Sonja Bates and Norwood in McComb, Mississippi. His elder sister Brandy is a multi-platinum recording artist. Early in his career, he moved with his family from McComb, Mississippi to Los Angeles, California, and in 1989 started appearing in television commercials for different corporations. At the age of eight, Norwood started auditioning for commercials on television. He was the foster child on The Sinbad Show from 1993 to 1994. His acting career was affected by this time of his youth. According to Bradley Torreano of AllMusic, "his casual appearance and sexy looks appealed to Brandy's producers on her television show, Moesha, giving him his first role on the UPN series as Dorian "D-Money" the character which he played until the show's end in 2001.
