Russell Wilson

Russell Carrington Wilson (born November 29th, 1988)[1][2] is an American football quarterback with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football and baseball at NC State from 2008 to 2010, before moving to Wisconsin in 2011. There, he set the single-season FBS record for passing efficiency (191.8) and helped lead the team to winning the Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl. He also played in minor league baseball with the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 and for the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as an infielder. His professional baseball rights were sold to the Somerset Patriots, a Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Wilson was selected to nine Pro Bowls. He also helped lead the Seahawks to two Super Bowls. He has the record for most wins for an NFL quarterback through nine seasons (98) and is among four quarterbacks in NFL time with a passing score of over 100. Wilson was the most-paid player in the NFL when the Seahawks signed him to an $140 million, four-year extension of his contract with the Seahawks in April 2019. He became the third quarterback in NFL history with 30 touchdowns in just four seasons in 2020. Wilson is widely considered to be one of the greatest dual threat quarterbacks in NFL history.
