Russell Wilson

 Russell Carrington Wilson, born November 29, 1988 is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos in the National Football League (NFL). He played college in baseball and football at NC State from 2008 to 2010. He then transferred to Wisconsin in 2011, where he set the single season FBS record for efficiency of passing (191.8) and led the team to a Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl.He also played minor league baseball for the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 and for the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as a second baseman. In 2019 the rights to his professional baseball are with the Somerset Patriots, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Wilson was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round (75th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. Wilson defeated Matt Flynn to the starting position in training camp and enjoyed a successful debut season. He broke Peyton Manning's record for most passing touchdowns by an rookie (26) He was also named Pepsi NFLRookie of the year. Wilson has the record for most wins by an NFL quarterback over nine seasons (98) and is one of only four quarterbacks in NFL history to have a career passing rating of more than 100.
