Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. Also known as Scottie Pippen is an American professional basketball player who played in the past. He was born on on September 25 1965. He played 17 seasons as a player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) which included six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is considered to be one of the top small forwards of all time. He played a major role in the transformation of the Bulls into a champion team and helped to popularize the NBA throughout the 1990s. He was a seven-time NBA All-Star, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP for 1994. He was recognized as among the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History during the 1996-97 season, and is the fourth player to have his jersey retired by the Chicago Bulls (the others being Jerry Sloan, Bob Love and Jordan). He was a major player of both the Chicago Bulls Championship and the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship teams and was selected as two of the top 10 Teams.
