Broderick Stephen Harvey Jr. was born on 17 January 1957. He is an American television actor, producer, comedian, and host. Harvey started his career as an actor and comedian. In the 80s, he performed as a stand-up comic and hosted Showtime at the Apollo as along with The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. After his appearance on the Kings of Comedy Tour, the show was renamed The Original Kings of Comedy. His last standup show was in 2012.Harvey is host of both Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud, holding this role since the year 2010. He also hosted Little Big Shots, Little Big Shots Forever Young, and Steve Harvey's Funderdome. He is an author and has written four books, among them the best-selling Act Like a Lady, think Like a Man. Harvey also founded Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company that runs his production company East 112 as well as various other ventures. Harvey also made an investment in HDNet and created Family Feud in Africa.
