homas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. (born August 3, 1977) is an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). His first 20 seasons were spent with the New England Patriots, where he was a key contributing player to the team's legendary dynasty from 2001 until the year 2019. Brady is widely recognized as the best quarterback of all time. He was drafted as 199th overall by the Patriots in 2000's sixth round. The Patriots gave him the title as the NFL's most significant draft snatcher. He became the starting quarterback in his second season which resulted in the Patriots achieve their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVI. As the team's primary player for 18 seasons Brady was the team's leader, leading the Patriots to 17 division championships (including 11 consecutive from 2009 until 2019) and 13 AFC Championship Games (including eight consecutive from 2011 to 2018), nine Super Bowl appearances, and six Super Bowl titles, all NFL records for a player and franchise. Brady was a part of the Buccaneers in 2020, and helped them win at Super Bowl LV. This extended his individual records to ten Super Bowl appearances as well as seven wins.
