Catherine Lisa Bell (born 14 August 1968) is an actor and model from the UK. Her most famous work is for her performances in JAG, Lieutenant Colonel Sarah MacKenzie, Denise Sherwood and Army Wives, as well as Cassandra Nightingale and Hallmark's The Good Witch movies and television series. Peter was employed as an architect under contract to an oil firm in Iran; Mina had travelled to London to pursue a nursing degree. Bell was two years old when her parents divorced. She was taken care of by her mother and maternal grandparents. Bell was exposed to many influences after her family moved into California's San Fernando Valley. In the home, the family spoke Persian. Her grandparents were Muslim, but Catherine was also exposed to Catholicism and was a part of a Baptist summer camp.
