Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9, 1985) is an American actress. She has won numerous awards such as an Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards and three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a Tony Award; making her one of the youngest people to be considered for the "Triple Crown of acting" and also the youngest to be nominated without winning.Kendrick began her acting career in theater productions at a young age. She was the main character in High Society, a Broadway musical in which she performed. For this role she was awarded a nomination for the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in a musical. Her debut film role was in Camp which was a musical comedy. She gained fame for her role in the Twilight Saga's main character (2008)-2012. Further recognition came for the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2008), which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, she received recognition for her role in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
