Gal Gadot-Varsano (Hebrew: gl gdvt ['gal ga'dot]; born 30 April 1985) is an Israeli actress and model. At age 18 she was named Miss Israel 2004. Then she joined the Israel Defense Forces for two years as an instructor of combat fitness, whereafter she began studying at IDC Herzliya while building her modeling and acting careers.Her first film appearance in the international arena was Fast & Furious (2009) where she starred as Gisele Yashar She reprised her role as Yashar in subsequent episodes of The Fast Saga. Gadot became a global star for her performance as Wonder Woman in DC Extended Universe. She was also part of Batman Superman vs. Batman Superman, Wonder Woman (2016) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Gadot has also appeared in the Netflix comedy Red Notice (2021), as well as the mystery film Death on the Nile (2022). She was named as the "biggest Israeli star" by local media outlets.
