Beyonce

 Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter (/bi'anseIBeyonce Knowles-Carter (/bi'anseI/ (listen) bee-ON'-say; born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Beyonce's awe-inspiring vocals and artistry have earned her the title of the most influential female singer of the 21st century according to NPR. Her success has led to her becoming an iconic figure in the music industry and earned her the name "Queen Bey".Beyonce participated in a variety of singing and dancing competitions as a child. In the latter part of the 1990s her fame grew when she was a part of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child. This was one of the most successful girl groups of all time. After a brief hiatus her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003) that included the number one US Billboard Hot 100 singles "Crazy in Love" as well as "Baby Boy", was released. The second album by Beyonce B'Day (which included the singles "Irreplaceable", and "Beautiful Liar") was released in 2006 following Destiny's Child disbanded. Beyonce also starred in multiple films, including The Pink Panther (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), Obsessed (2009), and The Lion King (2019). Her marriage to Jay-Z and her portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008) which won a record-breaking six Grammy Awards in 2010.
