Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor, born July 12, 1951 is an American actress, singer and author. Ladd is well-known for her role as Kris Munroe in the ABC television show Charlie's Angels, hired amid publicity flurry before the show's second season in 1977. She was hired to replace Farrah Fawcett-Majors , who was Jill Munroe, the sister of Ladd's character. Ladd remained with the show until it ended in 1981.Ladd was born Cheryl Jean Stoppelmoor in Huron, South Dakota, the second daughter of Dolores (nee Katz), a waitress and Marion Stoppelmoor (1929-2001), railway engineer. Jordan was her daughter. was the child of David Ladd, a fellow actor.
