Chris Bauer

 American actor Mark Christopher Bauer was born on October 28, 1966. His TV roles include The Wire and Third Watch, True Blood, Survivor's Remorse and The Deuce. He also plays the lead role in the first Apple TV+ science fiction space drama series For All Mankind. He was also in Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire and performed a variety of roles in the plays of John Patrick Shanley, Jez Butterworth and David Mamet. He was initially auditioned for the part of Jimmy McNulty. He was also in Billy Crystal's 2001 film 61* as New York Yankees player Bob Cerv. He has a variety of roles on network television and has a regular part in Fred Yokas's character Fred Yokas (husband of Officer Faith Yokas) on the NBC series Third Watch. He also plays the lead FBI Agent Dodd in the short-lived CBS series Smith. A priest in ABC's Life on Mars and Detective Lou Destefano on Sci-Fi channel's original miniseries The Lost Room. He voiced Lee Nickel on ESPN's Tilt in 2004. He was in the episode.
