Daisy Ridley

 Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley (born 10 April 1992) is an English actress. She gained notoriety in the role of Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy: The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017), and The Rise of Skywalker (2019).She has also been in the mystery film Murder on the Orient Express (2017) as the title character in the romantic comedy Ophelia (2018) and has also done voice-overs on occasion, such as the live-action/animated film Peter Rabbit (2018) and video games, including 12 Minutes.Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born on 10 April 1992 in the London Borough of Westminster and was raised in Maida Vale. She is the eldest of three children born to Christopher Ridley (a photographer) and Louise Fawkner Corbett (internal communications manager at a bank). The Fawkner Corbetts were the landed gentry with a medical and military background. Her paternal great-uncle Arnold Ridley served in the military as well. He also made an acting career as well as playwriting (and is most well-known for his role as Private Godfrey on the sitcom Dad's Army). Arnold Ridley was the brother of Daisy Ridley. His father John Harry Dunn Ridley OBE was the head of Engineering Secretariat at BBC from 1950 until 1965.
