David

 David Walter Foster OC OBC (born on the 1st of November, 1949) is a Canadian musician, arranger, composer as well as a record producer and music executive who was the chair of Verve Records from 2012 to 2016. He has won 16 Grammy Awards from 47 nominations. From 47 nominations, he's won 16 Grammy Awards. He was selected for the role as leader of a group at an Edmonton nightclub run by Tommy Banks in 1965. Foster was instructed by Banks how to produce records and manage a music business. After a time in the United States, Foster decided to move to Toronto to join Ronnie Hawkins. In 1966, he was a part of an alternative band to Chuck Berry. He relocated to Los Angeles in 1974 with Skylark.
