Joe Montana

 Joseph Clifford Montana Jr. was an American ex-quarterback. He played 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and was primarily associated with the San Francisco 49ers. Montana, also known as Joe Cool and the Comeback Kid, is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. The quarterback began his NFL career in San Francisco in 1979, which was where he spent 14 seasons. Montana was the 49ers' Super Bowl MVP and was the first player to win four Super Bowls. Montana holds the Super Bowl records for most passes with no interception (122 in 4 games) as well as the highest rating for passers (127.8). Montana was traded to Kansas City Chiefs in 1993. He played his final two seasons for the team and helped the Chiefs win their first AFC Championship Game. Montana was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.In 1986, Montana won the AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award. The Associated Press named Montana the NFL MVP in 1989 and in 1990. Sports Illustrated magazine also named Montana the 1990 "Sportsman of the Year". 10. Montana was elected to eight Pro Bowls and was voted first-team All Pro by the Associated Press in 1987, 1989and 1990.
