Lennox Lewis

 Lennox Claudius Lewis CBE, CM CBE was born on 2 September, 1965. He is an ex-professional boxer and boxing commentator. He is a three-time world heavyweight champion, two-time lineal champion and the last heavyweight to have the undisputed championship. Holding the dual British as well as Canadian citizenship, Lewis represented Canada as an amateur during the 1984 and 1988 Olympics In the latter the latter, he took home a gold medal in the super-heavyweight division , after beating Riddick Bowe in the final.In the first three years as a professional Lewis took home a number of regional heavyweight championships, including European, British, and Commonwealth titles. He won his first 21 fights, and managed to beat Donovan Ruddock in 1992, taking over the number 1 place on the WBC rankings. Later that year He was named WBC heavyweight champion following Riddick bowe quit the title to not defend the title against Lewis. He defended his title three times before suffering an upset knockout defeat to Oliver McCall in 1994. Lewis was awarded the vacant WBC title in 1997 following a rematch.
