Lynda Carter

 Lynda Jean Cordova Carter was born on July 24 1951. She is an American actor and singer. The role was based on the DC comic book fictional superhero that was named Wonder Woman, and was telecast on ABC and later on CBS from 1975 to 1979.Carter was born in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Juanita (nee Cordova) and Colby Carter. Her father is of English and Scots Irish as is her mother, who hails from Mexico is Mexican, Spanish and French. She has one brother, Vincent and a sister, Pamela. Carter was five years old when she made her TV debut on the Lew Kings Talent Show. Carter was part of Just Us during high school. The band played a marimba, a conga drum, an acoustic guitar, and a stand-up basses that was played by a girl from the group. At age 15 Lynda began to sing in the local pizza place to earn extra cash. She joined her cousins, The Relatives, when she turned 16 years old.
