Melanie Lynskey

 Melanie Jayne Lynskey (born 16 May 1977) is a New Zealand actress. She is well-known for her portrayals of women who are complex and her proficiency in American dialects. 2] She is a part-time actress who works mainly in films that are independent. Lynskey has been awarded two Critics' Choice Awards. She also won an award called a Gracie Award. A New Zealand Film Award. She is also a recipient of a Hollywood Film Award. After making the move to the United States, Lynskey built a successful career as a supporting actor in numerous large-budget and small-budget films like Ever After (1998) and Detroit Rock City (both 1999), Coyote Ugly (2000) and Abandon Sweet Home Alabama (both 2002), Shattered Glass (2003), Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and Away We Go!, Up in the Air!, Leaves of Grass (all 2009.), Win Win (2011) and Seeking the Wallflower (both 2012.
