Rebbeca Marie Gomez(born on March 2nd 1997) is known professionally as Becky G, is an American actor and singer. In 2011, she started uploading videos online of her singing songs of her own. Dr. Luke noticed one of her videos and suggested she sign the chance to sign a deal with Kemosabe Records as well as RCA Records. Gomez collaborated alongside Cody Simpson, Cher Lloyd as well as will.i.am on her debut album. The debut single, "Becky from the Block", was received positively upon its release. Later that year she released her first extended play, Play It Again (2013). Her second single, "Can't Get Enough" (2014) included the vocals of Pitbull and was able to top the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the United States. The fourth single by Gomez, "Shower," was a mainstream hit. It was ranked in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) will award the single a multi-platinum certification, which signified that the song had been sold over two million times in America. Following the success of "Shower", Gomez released "Can't Stop Dancin'" (2014), "Lovin' So Hard" and "Break a Sweat" (2015) as singles from her album that was then due out.
