Renee Zellweger

 Renee Kathleen Zellweger (/r@'neI 'zelweg@r/; born April 25, 1969 [1][2Zellweger was born on April 25, 1969[1][2) is an American actress. She was the recipient of numerous accolades such as four Golden Globe Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. Zellweger was born in Texas and studied English literature at the University of Texas at Austin. After a brief time on stage in college Zellweger originally hoped to pursue an occupation as a journalist. But, she found acting attractive after a brief performances on stage. After minor performances in Dazed & Confused (1993), and Reality Bites (1994), she was offered a lead part in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Next Generation (1994). After starring in minor roles in Reality Bites (1994) and Dazed and Confused (1993), Zellweger rose to fame with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994). She was nominated for two consecutive Academy Awards in the category of Best Actress nominations. For her performance as the charming farmer in Cold Mountain (2003), she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
