Chance the Rapper

 Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, born April 16, 1993, is a popular American artist and rapper. He is also a singer and songwriter. Born in Chicago, Bennett released his debut mixtape 10 Day in 2012. He began to gain the attention of the public in 2013 after dropping his second mixtape Acid Rap. The mixtape he released his third, Coloring Book, was released in 2016. It garnered more critical acclaim. It earned him three Grammy Awards, including the award for Best Rap Album; upon being awarded the award, it became the very first streaming-only album to receive the Grammy Award, and peaked at the top of the Billboard 200. In the year 2019 The Big Day, his debut studio album, The Big Day, was released. He is also part of the Chicago collective Savemoney as well as the lead vocalist for The Social Experiment. They released Surf in the year 2015, and was directed by Nico Segal, who is also a trumpeter. Bennett also takes part in social activism in Chicago which is where he currently lives.
