Russell Wilson

 Russell Carrington Wilson (born November 29, 1988) is an American football quarterback with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). From 2008 to 2010 he played in college football and baseball prior to making the move to Wisconsin in the year 2011. He set the single-season FBS passing efficiency record (191.8). He led the team to the Big Ten title and the 2012 Rose Bowl. In addition, he played in minor league baseball with the Tri-City Dust Devils in 2010 and for the Asheville Tourists in 2011 as a second baseman. The Somerset Patriots are his professional baseball rights. Wilson was selected by the Seattle Seahawks as the 75th overall selection in the 2012 NFL Draft. Wilson overcame Matt Flynn to the starting job in training camp. He had a successful debut season and broke Peyton Manning's record for highest number of touchdowns passed by an rookie (26). Wilson was also named Pepsi NFL's rookie of the Year. The Seahawks were victorious in Super Bowl XLVIII against the Broncos.
