Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. Also known as Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball athlete. He was born on on September 25 1965. He was a part of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 seasons, and was the winner of six NBA championships together with his team, the Chicago Bulls. One of the most admired small forwards of all time, Pippen, along with Michael Jordan, played an significant role in turning the Bulls into an elite team and popularizing the NBA across the globe during the 1990s.Pippen was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team repeatedly and the All-NBA First Team three times. He was seven-time NBA All-Star, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP for 1994. He was named among the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History during the 1996-97 season. He was also the fourth player to be honored with a jersey retirement by the Chicago Bulls (the others being Jerry Sloan, Bob Love, and Jordan). He played a major role in both the 1992 Chicago Bulls Championship team as well as the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship team that were chosen as two of the Top 10 Teams.
