 Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. (born on August 3, 1977) is a American football player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). His first 20 seasons were spent with the New England Patriots, where Brady was a significant contributor to the franchise's legendary dynasty from 2001 until the year 2019. Brady is widely recognized as the best quarterback of all time.After playing football in college at Michigan, Brady was selected as 199th overall by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft and later earned his reputation as the NFL's biggest draft steal. He became the starting quarterback in his second season which saw the Patriots achieve their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVI. Brady was the primary starter of the Patriots for 18 seasons. He was the team's leader to 17 division titles (including 11 consecutive titles from 2009 to 2019, 13 AFC Championship Games, including eight consecutive games from 2011 until 2018, and six Super Bowl titles. These are all NFL records for players and teams. [b] He joined the Buccaneers in 2020 and helped them to victory in Super Bowl LV, extending his individual records to 10 Super Bowl appearances and seven victories.
