Wendy Williams

 Wendy Williams (nee Wendy Joan Williams; born July 18, 1964) is an American broadcaster and writer. From 2008 to 2021, she hosted the nationally syndicated TV talk show The Wendy Williams Show.Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became famous as a shock jockette in New York as a shock jockette. She gained notoriety for her on-air squabbles with celebrities and was also the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality television series The Wendy Williams Experience, which aired events from her radio show.Williams also has other projects, including the writing of several books, her appearances in numerous television and film shows, a tour of her comedy show, and her own product lines, including a fashion collection, jewelry and a wig collection. Williams was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009. In celebration of her 50th birthday the city council of Asbury Park, New Jersey changed the name of the street on where she grew up Wendy Williams Way.Wendy Joan Williams was born on the 18th of July 1964 in Asbury Park, New Jersey.She is the second of three children to Shirley (nee Skinner) and Thomas Dwayne Williams. The couple earned three master's degrees.
