Sara Evans

 Sara Lynn Evans (/se@r@born 5 February 1971) and is an American country music artist and singer. She also acts as an actor, record producer, and author. Five of her songs have reached the top spot on Billboard's chart of country music and she's sold over six million albums. Nine other singles made it to the Billboard top 10 spots with songs like "I Could Not Wait for More", I Keep Looking" as well as "Cheatin'". "Saints and Angels", Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" as well as "As As" are among the top 20 charting singles. She has received awards from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. Both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association have nominated her for numerous other accolades, including Female Vocalist and Single of The Year. Evans was born in New Franklin, Missouri, and started performing with her siblings in The Evans Family Band. The band played through her early childhood and into her teenage years in her local area. In her teens, Evans and her older brother Matt started their own group before making the move to Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 to pursue a country music career.
