Anthony Frank Hawk, born May 12, 1968, is also known as Birdman is an American professional skateboarder and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Birdhouse Skateboards. Hawk was the pioneer of vertical skateboarding, and he performed the very first "900" documented trick in 1999. Hawk also licensed a skateboarding video game series named after him published by Activision in the was released in the same year. In 2003, Hawk retired from competitive skateboarding and was regarded as one of the top skateboarders to ever. "One occasion, Hawk struck out in baseball, and became so upset that he ran away into the ravine, and had to be "physically forced out" by his father. The anger he felt towards his own behavior was so extreme that his parents required for him to undergo psychological evaluation at school.
